Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between HPN-K Inc. (hereinafter "Company") and users in relation to the use of internet-related services (hereinafter "Services") provided through the online shopping mall (hereinafter "Mall") operated by the Company.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Mall" refers to the virtual business establishment set up by HPN-K Inc. using information and communication facilities such as computers to enable the trading of goods or services (hereinafter "Goods").
- "User" refers to members and non-members who access the "Mall" and receive services provided by the "Mall" in accordance with these Terms.
- "Member" refers to a person who has registered as a member of the "Mall" and can continuously use the services provided by the "Mall."
- "Non-member" refers to a person who uses the services provided by the "Mall" without registering as a member.
Article 3 (Disclosure and Amendment of Terms)
- The "Mall" shall post the contents of these Terms, company name, representative's name, business address, telephone number, email address, business registration number, and mail-order business registration number where users can easily access them on the initial service screen.
- The "Mall" may amend these Terms within the scope that does not violate applicable laws.
- When the "Mall" amends these Terms, it shall post the effective date and reasons for amendment along with the current Terms on the initial screen from 7 days before the effective date until the day before the effective date.
Article 4 (Provision and Change of Services)
- The "Mall" performs the following tasks:
- Providing information about goods or services and concluding purchase contracts
- Delivering goods or services for which purchase contracts have been concluded
- Other tasks determined by the "Mall"
- The "Mall" may change the content of goods or services to be provided under future contracts in cases such as sold-out goods or changes in technical specifications.
Article 5 (Suspension of Services)
- The "Mall" may temporarily suspend the provision of services due to maintenance, replacement, or failure of information and communication facilities, or disruption of communications.
- The "Mall" shall compensate for damages suffered by users or third parties due to temporary suspension of services for reasons stated in Paragraph 1, unless the "Mall" proves that there was no intentional or negligent act.
Article 6 (Membership Registration)
Users apply for membership registration by filling in member information according to the registration form set by the "Mall" and expressing their agreement to these Terms.
Article 7 (Withdrawal and Disqualification of Members)
- Members may request withdrawal from the "Mall" at any time, and the "Mall" shall process the withdrawal immediately.
- The "Mall" may restrict or suspend membership if a member falls under any of the following:
- Registering false information during registration
- Failing to pay debts related to the use of the "Mall" by the due date
- Interfering with other users' use of the "Mall" or stealing their information
Article 8 (Purchase Orders)
Users of the "Mall" shall place purchase orders through methods specified by the "Mall," and the "Mall" shall provide the following information in an easily understandable manner.
Article 9 (Privacy Protection)
The "Mall" collects the minimum personal information necessary to provide services.
Article 10 (Disclaimer)
- The "Mall" is exempt from liability for service provision when services cannot be provided due to force majeure such as natural disasters.
- The "Mall" shall not be liable for service disruptions caused by the user's own fault.
Article 11 (Dispute Resolution)
- The "Mall" shall establish and operate a damage compensation handling organization to reflect legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users and to process damage compensation.
- Disputes between the "Mall" and users regarding e-commerce may be subject to mediation by a dispute resolution body as requested by the Fair Trade Commission or a provincial governor.
Supplementary Provisions
These Terms shall take effect from January 1, 2026.
